Meet Dr. Angles

Dr. Ronald M. Angles is a board certified Gastroenterologist and a member of the Heritage Medical Center staff. After practicing for 15 years in Owosso, Michigan, Dr. Angles has relocated his practice to serve Shelbyville and the surrounding areas with the opening of his new office, Digestive Healthcare of Middle Tennessee in August of 2010. 

Dr. Angles specializes in both diagnostic and therapeutic care with an emphasis on patient comfort, education and peace of mind. His scope of practice includes colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and ERCP procedures. Dr. Angles offers personalized, individual patient care, focused on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases.

Dr. Angles graduated with Honors from Southeastern University of Health Sciences in 1991 and completed his Internship and Residency in 1994 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and the American Osteopathic Association.

Other interests include the Haiti Water Project, an organization founded to provide clean water sources to the people in Haiti. He has participated in numerous mission trips on multiple continents as well.

An avid sports fan, Dr. Angles enjoys football, fishing, motorcycles, and spending time with family.

Dr. Angles looks forward to providing gastroenterology services to the area and is now accepting new patients. His office is located adjacent to the HMC campus at 112 Airport Business Park Drive, Suite G.
